Let's pretend that you are given (as a prize of some sort) a shopping spree in a Games Workshop warehouse. The only condition is that you can only spend one hour in there, and can only take what you can fit into your trolley. What are you gonna be grabbing for?
I'm going straight for the orks. Or possibly marines. I think a dozen basic troops of each, some veichles, and 3 master paint sets. Oh, and codex's/novels galore.

I seriously wouldn't know. It would just be completly random except if I had an army in mind that I wanted to build from scratch, like a 120-strong feral grot army using goblin regiment boxes or bits to make a blood axe speed freek army and so forth.

Me? I wouldn't focus too much on one particular army, though IG, SM and CSM would be top priority. I'd start with Army deals: Cue four Tyranid (£150) armies  Then Mega Forces (Marines only) Then Battle Forces. I'd then get specialist stuff (individual boxes) A couple of those huge paint sets. Brushes, glues, clippers etc Then finally Codexes and fiction  I'd also be sure to get more than I wanted, for eBay of course |

straight towards the nids good half a trolly full... and lots and lots of metal.. when i got all nides lots and lots of stuf for undead.. then run around madley grabbing REALLY expensive metal models.... so i could sell them and go back to games workshop to buy the truck load of paint needed for the nids.... lol

I would go for some IG, lots of paint, and Tyranids. And also some various terrain supplies.

good question.
i would grab one of every codex/army book i needed, all the imperial armour, and every single book (no fiction ones) that i didnt own. a couple of mega paintsets would be good as well. I would grab a lot of empire stuff, as well as stacks of lotr elves and other things i wanted for that. SM and IG would be high on the list, along with some fantasy chaos stuff.

i'd have 2 start my fantasy Zombie pirate army... they are nearly as bad as skaven 4 having a huge horad... so lots of zombies and empire miltia pieces on top of tht myself a load of IG tanks and then hope they had forge world tanks (thts a point i coverted a Leman russ vanquiser using a felt tip pen he he) then id get my self loadsa of the new wood elves then id just fill my trolley with alll the green stuff i cud carry! |

yeh, id either do that or kick the trolley into one of the HUGE wearhouse shelfs and knock it down, all the contents dropping into the trolley and all over the floor, the randomness is supreme!

I would go other to the guard grab random boxes go to LOTR grab harad boxes and then go to warhammer to grab Lizardmen boxes, get the £75 paint set box thing and a few master paint cases and glue etc and that would do me fine
